Google wanted the film to meet its standards for high production value, but also to feel intimate, as we were telling a highly personal story. The challenge was to be big and small all at once—at the height of the pandemic with a remote director.

We paired full-scale production (car rigs, drones, big crews) for principal photography with remote interview camera drop kits.
Our custom built STUDIO IN A BOX streaming kit paired with a mobile satellite uplink beamed the camera feed to our remote director and connected her to crew and talent in real time.

The resulting short doc won two Anthem Awards and is a powerful example of a brand telling a true story that resonates with audiences on an emotional level.
