Information is power.

Reforming the justice system takes really knowing how it works. Data is the key to this puzzle. But it’s not sexy. It’s not emotional. To illustrate the importance of numbers, Measures for Justice needed to tell a true story.

A Nationwide Search

We assembled a team of investigative journalists and an award-winning director and set out across the country to cast and capture stories that bring local criminal justice data to life.

8 Episodes

In our films, the people that lived these stories showed how data walks and breathes in our country. The series premiered at the Sidewalk Film Festival in Summer 2023 and is at the center of efforts to empower communities with the tools for criminal justice reform.
