In 2017 a music legend traveled to a Virginia jail to make a record behind bars. Our award-winning feature documentary follows hip hop legend SPEECH from Arrested Development, as he records with and learns from four inmates in a makeshift recording studio in the Richmond City Justice Center.

The film was nominated for a Black Reel Award, won Best Documentary at the Downtown L.A. Film Festival, was released theatrically in 5 cities, and was picked up for streaming by the Sundance Channel in 2021.
