Back To The Future.

Amazon Music wanted to create a twist on the historical documentary— something modern but nostalgic. Scheduled to shoot over five days in two different cities, the film would tell the story of one of the most iconic holiday song ever recorded.

Set And Setting.

We worked with the agency Saatchi and Saatchi to conceptualize sets for each supporting interview that gave viewers the feeling of being behind the scenes and backstage for the making of classic.  Mariah’s set, built on a soundstage with hundreds of shimmering ornaments, was the setting for the artist to reflect on her place in history.

For B Roll, We projected her 16mm home videos above a classic living room set to invoke the song’s nostalgic place in the hearts of millions around the world.

Merry and Bright.

The film garnered 1.6 million views, played on 500 foot screens in Times Square, and the record went #1 on the billboard charts 25 years after its release. All hail the queen of Christmas.
